We are able to keep our cost low by doing most of the work ourselves. We use the services of an outside lab only occasionally. Our office is truly a small family business. Unlike the dentists, we do not have a bunch of dental assistants, a billing specialist, the manager, or even a receptionist. Also, since denturists do not treat any oral diseases, our insurance fees are lower than a dentist’s.
3. What is the process of getting dentures like?
At your first appointment, we will talk about your needs and options in dentures. If you decide to proceed, we will take impressions of your mouth. The next appointment is to try the denture on to see how well it fits. We will then make final adjustments before giving it to you. You may wish to come in again while getting used to your new dentures.
4. Why are there different price levels for dentures in your clinic? What is the difference?
